We provide free tax preparation services for eligible individuals and families through the CRA Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). Before getting started, please review the eligibility criteria below to ensure you qualify.

You may qualify for help through CVITP if:
- You have a modest income (e.g., single: up to $35,000, family of 4: up to $52,500)
- Your tax situation is simple (employment income, pension, benefits, RRSP, interest under $1,000)
- You do not have self-employment, business/rental income, capital gains/losses, bankruptcy filing, or deceased person’s return
